HIM Mission and Purpose Statements

Mission Statement

To strengthen and equip evangelical Christian ministries in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide by providing various "helps" as found in I Corinthians 12:28.

Purpose of HIM

HIM is a faith supported missionary sending agency and a service mission to world missions. The word "helps" as defined in I Corinthians 12:28 identifies our ministry. Our purpose is to stand alongside bodies of believers in a ministry of ''helps". HIM provides
services to assist the body of Christ in three ways:  Mission Support, Mission Mobilization and Mission Counseling. Such ministries include:  Bible teaching, Christian counseling, healing and restoration ministries, equipping God's servants through specialized leadership training in both the United States and in overseas seminaries, Bible colleges and pastors' conferences.  HIM also provides short-term teachers for overseas Bible colleges and seminaries that provide specialized training and equipping for their students.  HIM is involved in church planting directed toward unreached people groups.  Ministries also include short-term mission trips, evangelistic events for teens and adults and short-term medical mission trips abroad. HIM assists with financial support of pre-selected national church leadership, Bible college faculty and other national Christian workers and organizations as approved by the HIM Board of Directors. By "Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Extraordinary Ways", HIM also provides technical services to like-minded Christian organizations in many ways such as: architectural planning/design, computer and internet services, multimedia design, recording and production services related to Christian music and Bible teaching and internet radio broadcasts and other ministry outreach as deemed appropriate by the HIM Board of Directors. Our "helps" are not an end in themselves, but rather a ministry of standing alongside our brethren in encouragement and burden sharing (Galatians 6).

*Please do not contact us for financial support, only institutions and individuals pre-approved by HIM are given assistance.
